Default Old Agfa antique...and more...

Its interesting when I think back to when I purchased my first ever camera...it was about 10 years ago (I cant actually recall the period as about three years ago I had an accident so the time since then has become a bit muddled )...

Anyway, the camera was a Agfa ePhoto 307 and cost me about a grand (AUD)...even though it was a low res digital camera I was pretty chuffed to be on the cutting edge (if I had more money I would have lashed out on something with a few more features and grunt )...

Since then (a while ago) I upgraded (to a degree) to a Samsung (cant remember the model but it isnt that great but at least its an improvement on the Agfa) and am currently using a Kodak P880.
Despite some peoples opinions of this camera, its dong its job pretty well and given the number of features for the price, I couldnt complain when it was purchased...
Having said that, if I could have afforded a DSLR when I did get the Kodak I would have opted for a DSLR...looking back at all the pictures I took with my old Mamiya when I was backpacking makes me yearn for a camera that has the right number of features and abilities (I guess this is a slight jab at the P880 with its gazillion buttons)...

Anyway, the above is just a rant (I think its a first post too ) about my history...

cheers
