Hi,
i'm quite curious about this, is there a reverse lens adaptor for 4/3 lenses? Some of my friends using canon or nikon have an adaptor that can reverse the lens, making it possible to shoot macro photos...

I haven't seen one for four thirds, but I have seen one for OM, so maybe if you have an OM->4/3 adapter, you could use them together.
However, you could also just hold a reversed lens in front of the body, or in front of another mounted lens, or use a macro coupling ring, which just threads the filters of two lenses together face-to-face.

Sorry I'm a Canon shooter, so I've never played with 4/3 gear. I don't think the mount matters when it comes to reversing a lens, but it tends to work better with primes than with zooms.

I just took a shot yesterday by holding my lens up to the camera. Worked very well but might be tougher if taking a lot of shots.

I didn't keep that image, so I can't answer your question. Here are two new macros I just took of my computer screen.
I used my 14-42mm kit lens. The first picture was at 42mm and the second at 14mm. This was hand-held in a dimly lit basement so everything is blurry from movement. I also had to focus by moving the camera back and forth, so hand shake kept it from staying in focus when snapping the picture. But it gives you an idea of what you can do. Two things to remember: First, I had to get really close to take these shots. I was probably less than an inch away from my computer screen. Second, it has a very short focal depth, so it works best for flat items. If taking a picture of a bug or flower, one part will be in focus and then things will gradually blur. I bought a reverse mount ring and will post sample shots once I get it.

I've tried to hold a lens up to the camera reversed, you can get some good shots. But I would much rather have a reversing ring or coupler ring. Either is fairly cheap and then at least you don't have to worry about slipping and scratching the lens or worse dropping the lens. That is a beautiful shot StellaG.
