Default Digital Lenses compared to old

Just switching to digital, finally! I have always shot portraits with an 80mm Zenza lens. Are digital lenses the same? I mean, is 80mm the same on digital?

I have an Olympus E500 that I'm learning and I'm just trying to get myself into the digital relm.

Thanks!

Check out this site. It covers your question fairly well.
Hope it helps. It tells the effects of the camera sensor on lens mm.

The Olympus E500 has a crop factor of 2.0x, so for example, your 80mm lens would have a field of view of a 160mm lens on a 35mm camera or a full frame sensor. So, with any lens that you buy for your Olympus you will need to double the focal length to see what your actual field of view will be.
