Default Lens Question

Hey Everyone,

This might be a silly question, but on some Olympus lens, they have ED at the end of description of the lens. Some lens have it some don't.

Anyone know what it means??

It stands for "Extra-low Dispersion" glass. It's glass that can minimize chromatic aberration (when the glass's index of refraction is high enough, different wavelengths end up in different locations, and you get red/blue "shadows" or green/purple ones).
