Default Hot pink skies

OKay this is a new one. While out hiking all day and takling plenty of shots I get home and to my horror discover that 90% of my skies are hot pink! Not anything else , just the skies.
I normally bracket all my photos so I thought this might be the culprite but after going thru them, I see that it isnt the the problem.
Has anyone else had this problem and if so what caused it and how do i avoid it?

Given your propensity and skill for post processing, windrider, maybe your camera is trying to get in on the action!

I've had my photos pink because the software I used couldn't interpret the raw file, but that's the only reason... I can't recall if it was mainly the sky looking pink or all of the photo

h,mmm, i wonder if that is it. The photos looked fine on the camera and this one time I used my processing software to load the images instead of the raw program I usually use. I will have to dive into this further.
Dlaf, you made me chuckle. I did actually look at some of them and wonder what i could create with that pink sky!
