Please, does anyone know why I can not change apriture in setup mode on EMF AF Confirm CHIP FOR CANON (Roxen), in the Canon EOS 400. I followed the instructions and when I change the dial apriture stands at 1.4
So I cant to enter a setup mode. I tried several times.

You have to do each setting and then save it separately. Don't try to set more than one thing at a time. I.e., to set the max. aperture, the sequence is:

f/64 - shutter
f/57 - shutter
f/64 - shutter
f/2.0 - shutter
[max. aperture] - shutter
f/57 - shutter
f/64 - shutter
f/57 - shutter

Thank you inkista, for advice and I know this lnk, but aperture dial will not move.
It is allways shows 1.4 , so I wonder is it EMF working properly?

Try power-cycling the camera (turn off and then turn on), and remounting the lens.

I tried everything you said, and the second Canon 5D threads does not help it is constantly on f1.4
Focus indicator light wok but cannot prgram the chip.

I'd say tell the seller, and see if he'll exchange it or give you a refund.
