Default Adapter to use old Olympus OM lenses on Nikon?

First, I've got to explain that, beyond aperature, shutter speed and and (some) ISO, all of which I have a theorhetically basic understanding of but have certainly not mastered, I am, camerawise anyway, pretty technically illiterate. I'm working on it, but have a LONG way to go.
I've got a Nikon D60, and an older (and currently not working) Olympus OM-G with several lenses. I've been poking around a bit to see if there are any adapters to use the old lenses on the D60. I haven't seen any, and read something (that I didn't really understand) about some incompatibility making it impossible to adapt the OM lenses for the Nikon DSLRs. I did find some references for adapters for other brands.
Does anyone know if such adapters exist for Nikon?

As far as I know, the problem is the flange-to-film distance. Nikon's is 46.5mm while Olympus OM is 46mm. So the adapter would have to be only 0.5mm thick, which is probably not mechanically possible.
