Default Online coarese vs. practice practice practice?

This isnt really about Nikon cameras but I didnt know where I should post.

Any opinions about online photography coarses instead of full on schooling. Im not sure that I can afford to take college coarses but I need more help learning.

The only reason I would take a course in photography would be to learn about art in general. If you are good to find some reading, the technical stuff can be learn very easily with a mix of reading and practice.

But a university course in visual art is something different. You get to work on different projects as well as learning about the different concepts / theory. The tools you are using (camera, painting, drawing) than become only a device to acheive what want to create.
