Default D70

Im on the verge of buying a Nikon D70, slightly used, less than 2000 shots. Any god bad or indifferent opnions? I presently have the D40, I really like it and want to go up a step and not spend a $1000 on it. I undeerstand it is not being made any more but the price is closer to my budget. what you think?

Don't waste your money! That is very old technology and your D40 probably takes better images. If you really want a used body with a motor go for a D80 or D200. You can find D80's for as low as $350 and D200's for about $500. Check craigslist or Fred Miranda site.

Thumbs up Agreed!

Kirbinster is right. You can find great deals on slightly used D80s (or even some new ones that are still out there).
