No. If you're hungry to learn, then you already have more than you need. It's far more important to work on composition, using colors, lines, and shapes, finding strong subjects, etc.. You can do that with any equipment -- and as you work, you might discover new and interesting things which you like to do. For example, as I learned, I discovered that I loved ultra-wide angles, so that lead me to buy a 10mm lens. I benefited enormously from taking time to learn about my photography, as opposed to just gettig more equipment.

If you still want to purchase something....
![]() I purchased this book last summer Amazon.com: The Photographer's Eye: Composition and Design for Better Digital Photos (9780240809342): Michael Freeman: Books It focus on the composition side and the "art side" of photography instead of the ususal triangle / exposure (ISO, Aperture, Shutter). I found the book very interesting and providing information I wasn't use the see everywhere. A very good investement IMO.

David has definitely given you some first class advice. Getting a new body or new glass, while tempting, won't necessarily be what you need. Work on your technique and style. Learn to see your subject in your mind's eye...see what light can do...etc. Improve yourself before thinking of improving your equipment (if you even need to). I wish I had paid attention to this kind of advice early on.
