Sigma 70-300mm f4-5.6 - has anyone used it?

When the OP posted about the Sigma 70-300 and its price point my mind automatically went to the lower cost models (with all the other sigma 70-300 threads floating around here), so that explains why i thought it was so weird when you mentioned that there was not a huge price difference between the Nikon VR and the Sigma. Also, depending on what mount the OP wants it in, the AF might be an issue.
