Default Nikon D3s released!

Yes, finally after much speculation… it’s been released!

12.1MP, 14fps, up to 102,400 ISO…

Info:
here
and here

It’s also been released at the time of the 85mm f/3.5 micro VR.

Nikon bills it at 11fps max (in DX crop)

but still a weapon to behold

sigh

Yes sorry made a mistake it's only 9fps in FX mode and 11 in DX crop mode...

Surprisingly enough, some images on the Nikon websites look quite clean. Of course, it's FX and 12.1MP only after all...

Does anyone have the sample pictures of D3s' 100k ISO?
12.1 Mpx is enough I reckon anyway

Im sorry, but that example of 100k ISO is jsut absurd. I cant see that being used by anyone. It was tough enough with the Hi2 levels on the D3 (25k ISO), but that's pushing things.

The video might be nice for some. Im sorry, but im still pining for a straight-up D3

Your probably not the only one. The price hasn't drop that much since the introduction of the D3x.
