Asuyete I totally agree with Taallyn on the Nikor 18-135 lens,I have & it is always on my D40x I have a lot of other ones but this seems to fit the bill most of the time .It has a good range & is a nice wide size.I love my outdoor photos & I try to take a lot of wildlife shots bieng a X hunter. For out door stuff that requires a bit of walking may I sudgest a Mono pod as well? It can double as a walking stick (I use it as I am somewhat cripple).
For lenses I recomend B&H photo. There are cheeper places to get them but B&H is the most reliable it seems to me.Or you can go to there web site see what you want or need as they have tons of real good info & then go to the other sites for price shopping.I have used 6 or 7 online places to buy lenses with B&H always being in the ballpark but remember a few extra bucks can be worth it for the service Last edited by johnnieob; 11-14-2008 at 04:01 PM. |
