Yes I agree, Canon always has had better prices for lenses.(surveys in the U.S. showed most folks were willing to pay more for their photographic equipment if it had the Nikon name on it) Sounds like you're ready to go and get us some sample photos, lol.

I like weight. I don't think weight is a bad thing. What I'm saying is, sometimes better quality means more weight. There is a reason the 70-200 is more weight than the 55-200. The better the zoom, the more the weight.
