Yeah! The camera works fine and acts completely normal. The photos taken with it still look good too. To me it seems like the cover part of the display was pushed down to much and damaged the more sensitive screen below. Not sure if this is possible, and I have no clue how something like that even happened.

This isn't during Live View; it's image review. It looks like it might be an issue with the screen, tbh, but if it isn't affecting images, I wouldnt worry. You should be able to get it fixed under warranty if it's still in the first 2 years. Just make sure it isnt a result of YOU pressing or impacting the camera; the repair depot CAN check that.

Okay! I truthfully can't recall an incident that might have caused it to be damaged. I just bought in October so I will check with Nikon about getting it fixed! Thank you for the help
it seems like it lightens up and moves more to the edges, so maybe I'll get lucky and it'll just go away over time! Haha!

Was your camera anywhere near a magnet? Magnets and video screens are not happy neighbors.

What you are seeing is light leakage around the lcd panel from the back lighting bulb and some leakage is normal (most lcd displays have this phenomenon to some degree). This wont affect the operation of the camera or screen and is more noticeable in dim light situations. Some fade, some stay the same, some get worse over time.
