My camera was taking great pics, but all of the sudden started taking crazy blurry photos. I thought maybe the battery was low so I charged it....didn't help. Then I took it to a camera repair shop, the guy said that the flash was broken...he repaired it. Now when I take pics on auto the flash appears to overpower the subject and it's all super white. I have NO idea of how to fix it. I tried to do a complete reset on the camera itself, but that has not worked either. It's my baby's first Christmas soon and I would be miserable if I could not capture it on film.
Thanks in advance! |

Check that the focus is actually trying to focus on things. If the camera isnt trying to focus, everything will be blurry.

It does focus it's just now the pictures are super overexposed. I was told just to switch from auto mode to program, but I've never had to do that in the past and I don't want to have to do that every time I take a picture. I'm sure once I learn more about photography and learn more about my camera I'll be more than willing to venture out of auto mode. It's still under warranty and when I sent sample photos to Nikon they told me to do the program thing and that I was too close to my subject.....but again I didn't have this problem before.
