My sister in law recently bought the L120 and I was amazed at the 20:1 optical zoom. It is more of a point-shoot. There are obvous limitations compare to dSLRs because she can't control shutter speeds (and other settings) directly, but for idiot proof point-shoot, it's the bomb.
