I have a Nikon Coolpix s3000, when I turn it on and look at the LCD screen, the image is blurry. Any idea what is wrong with my camera? It hasn't been dropped or anything. I was able to take pictures earlier today and it worked fine.

Make sure the camera isn't in the macro setting.

It's not. It's like this even in the auto setting.

Does the camera TRY to autofocus? Does it make a terrible noise when it does so?

Not trying to be a smart arse here but did you check the lens? Usually the simplest things tend to be the most likely in my experience.

It's a coolpix: looking at the lens wont get you anywhere.
