Azaki pretty much as it: As many as you need for your shooting style.
I have 7, but there are 3 that I use the most: 50mm, 105mm Macro, and 10-20mm.

I've got 4 right now, but I only really use my 35mm and 50mm. (The other two are the kit zooms.)
My "complete DX set" would be the following: ($3285) -10.5mm fisheye -10-24mm wide angle zoom -35mm standard -50mm 'portrait' lens -105mm macro My "complete FX set" would be: ($5185 or $5915) -16mm -16-35mm -50mm -85mm -105mm That $1900 difference might end up being the exact reason why I don't go FX... =) Last edited by Almond.Butterscotch; 07-15-2011 at 07:36 AM. |

I'm using 2 zooms + 2 primes. Zooms are for when I will be changing the focal lenght often during a session while primes are for when I can take my time to compose / shallow depth of field / low light.
They are in my signature.
