Default CoolPix L120

I need to buy my first DSLR camera as i didn't use any DSLR before. but it's not important to me to be able to interchange lenses. and i need to use it in full automatic mood and also in full manual mood (as Aperture Priority and Shutter Speed and every thing).

Should i buy the CoolPix L120 or not ?

and what i will miss in it ? , and is DSLR or not ?

Default nope

It's not a DSLR, (DSLR = Digital Single Lens Reflex) It's a "bridge camera", it resembles a DSLR but doesn't have the capabilities of one. You can't change lenses. It has the modes and all but without the lenses, it doesn't matter. It is a nice point and shoot type of camera, but not a dslr. If you don't care about lenses, it's not a bad choice. The one thing to remember on these is the sensor size. The CoolPix L120 has a very small sensor which is common in most point and shoot cameras. They will shoot ok in normal day light conditions, but if the light gets low, forget it. Super noisy shots. Combine that with only being able to use a built in flash, not a full sized flash, you end up with some funky shots that you really won't like.

You waited less than 24 hours. Have some patience.

From memory: the L120 does NOT allow full manual control or aperture/shutterspeed priority controls. The P500 does.
