Default Nikon D70s

I have a D70s and i love it. I take photos of cars and people. I recently bought a VR DX 55mm-200mm lens and plus my stock lens 18mm-70mm AF-S DX w a SB600. Whats is the optimal settings can be used so my photos come out amazing. I sometimes shoot in Manual mode with Micro(Flower picture on the dial) lens is M/A. Flash is Off when i am outside and indoors flash is auto.

The best thing you can do is RTFM...

There is no "optimal setting" that fits all situations. If there was, well then there wouldn't be any buttons or dials to change the settings....
