Default D90 Camera Strap

Hello all,

I'm considering buying the Nikon D90 this summer, and I was just curious. Does the strap come with Nikon D90 written on it, or just Nikon? Not that this makes a difference in me purchasing it or not, it's just that I thought it was kinda cool to rep the camera, haha!

Thanks!

i think it just comes with the generic "Nikon" written on it. I don't remember mine saying D90 on it. I got rid of my Nikon strap though and bought a generic Optex brand strap. much better!!

Anything below the full-pro bodies (D300/D700/D3 series) just have "NIKON" on the strap: the heavier-duty models have the model number. THis goes back to the D1/D100, D2 series/D200 as well and even back to the film days when the F# cameras came with specifically labeled straps while the N## and N#### didnt.

Well, that part doesn't really extend back all the way to the beginning though. The F didn't come with marked straps. Can't speak towards the F2 through F4 though.

The original F didn't, but most everything after that did. I know the F3-F6 did.
