I own the 70-300 VR. Its a fantastic lens. it'll be heavy on your D3000, though.

This was actually the first lens I purchased after the 18-55mm that came with my D60. It's a very good lens for the price and I still use it when I need the reach. It will open a door to sport/wildlife photography.

Hope no one gets mad.....I just bought my Nikon D3000. And sadly, I barely know anything about photography.
I just need some feedback about the camera itself, and the lens it comes with... The auto setting makes me completely sick and annoyed... And any pointers about this site, and camera would be so helpful! Thanks. :] |
