Thumbs up Tokina 12-24 any good?

Looking to get this in the future or the 11-16 2.8. I just want to know from users or from pros like you guys how they perform for mostly my landscape and architecture photos. Asked this in a previous thread already but just wanted to get more responses. TY!

I've had mine for the last 4 years and I am happy with it.
However I believe there are better lenses around now especially those made by the camera makers.

It compares well to the NIkon 10-24, especially with the f/2.8, but I really cant recommend the Nikkor enough.

For DX:
Nikon 10-24 f/3.5-4.5
Tokina 11-16 f/2.8
Nikon 12-24 f/4.

For FX, depending on filter use: 16-35 f/4 VR or 14-24 f/2.8

I like the range on the Nikkor 10-24mm. As you mentioned already, speed doesn't matter as much when shooting landscapes.

I've been very happy with the Tokina 11-16. I've had it for about 8 months.

Good color, sharpness and contrast, and verticals stay vertical as long as I do what I'm supposed to do.
