I shoot with a Nikon D5000 with multiple lenses depending on the situation. My question is this:
I am contracted to shoot an upcoming dance recital at a college performing arts center. The biggest lens I currently have is a 70 - 200mm. I do not think this is going to get me close enough to capture the clear and up-close pictures they will be requiring. With all of the lenses that are available on the market, I am confused as to what I should purchase to accomplish this upcoming contract. Can you direct me please??? Your quick response is greatly appreciated due to the time frame I have to work with on the upcoming contract I have. Thank you greatly! How big is this performing arts centre? Where will you be located? Are you the official photographer for this event? Are you being paid? If so, have you given them a quote? Do you have access to a good tripod or monopod?

I took a look at your portfolio site....
You're the "pro", why are you asking me?
