with a nice tax return from which I will spend $ 2000 Can.Dollars on gear!
![]() I have a Nikon D80; Nikon AF 50mm Nikkor F/1.8D, Nikon AF-S 70-300mm VR Zoom-Nikkor F/4.5-5.6G ED-IF and a Nikon AF-S 18-70mm DX Zoom-Nikkor F/3.5-4.5G IF-ED. Also have SB600, battery grip and a remote ML-L3 Am going into (still learning and being 2nd shooter) Wedding Photography. What would you invest in? |

what would I do? Upgrade the 70-300mm to the 70-200mm f/2.8
According to photoprice.ca, the 70-200mm goes for about 2400CAD. Sell the 70-300 and get that one. It'll help you out with the whole wedding thing (fixed aperture), and it'll outlast any body you buy. |

...the 24-70 f/2.8 would be a good investment

Also this 70-200mm is for small sensor (I have the D80 now) as well as for full-frame, if I decide to upgrade to a D700? Last edited by november; 03-17-2011 at 10:07 PM. |

Both the 24-70, and the 70-200 will work well on both crop sensors, and full frames..can't go wrong with either
