Hi - I am an amatur and love my Nikon D90. I currently have the stock lense and a 55-200mm and I use it for portrait photography (outdoors) and basically running around taking pictures of weird things like escalators, chairs, etc. I really would like to get a fill flash but am limited on the funds and have been looking at the SB400 and SB700 (really drooling is more like it) but was wondering if the Bower flashes I have seen and read about on B&H will be just as good for a beginner. I am hoping to shoot a wedding in Nov., that will be indoors and know that I'll definetly need something stronger than the pop-up. Any help will be great....also, how do you get to the "gear for sale" forum?

I went with a nissan speedlite Di622 for my D90, cheaper than the nikon, what ever you get make sure it has iTTL or you will have to manually adjust the output.

I would try to find a SB-600.
There is not much you cannot do with this little puppy (including off-camera using your D90 as the commander) and it's cheaper than the 700. My 2 cents
