Default What's the Next Step Up from a D90?

I have a D80 that I love and use frequently. I have no complaints and am in no real hurry to upgrade. The D90 is an outstanding camera and should I decide to upgrade (or just wanted a second body) that would be the next logical step. However, if I was to take the leap I am curious if it would make more sense to go to the next camera above a D90, and what that camera would be.

Thanks for your opinions.

D7000 or D300 for DX format
D700, D3 if you want to go full frame.

I have a D80, and when I started needing a back up body, I bought the D300.

You still cant go wrong with the D90, its a great camera too.

I think the "next step" would be the D7000 these days. The D300s if you need the better construction (or D300 if you don't care about the video)

Personally I'd probably go with the D300.
FWIW, for a lot of what I do the D90 sucks....
