Default Nikon D3000 - Small Error

Hello all,

So, I've had my D3000 for a little over a year, and I noticed something a little strange happening on it the other day. When I press the button on the left side near the flash release button (the self-timer button), this activates the option in the menu to switch on/off the Active D-Lighting instead. I was just curious as to why this is happening. It's a little irritating and I'd like to know how to fix it, or if you guys have had any common problems!

Thanks!

- Harnum

The self-timer is a function key as well. Read manual p134 and set it back to self-timer instead of Active D-Lighting.
