Default Nikon D7000

How are you enjoying your D7000? Am thinking of purchasing one and the main negative report that I've read in reviews is that it has a 'tendency to overexpose in bright sunshine/high contrast situations'.

All dSLRs have a tendency to over or underexpose a bit. No big worry- you can always dial in some exposure compensation.

Thom Hogan discussed this exact issue: he said that in all the tests he did, he found the camera tested UNDER the standards. He explains it well on his site. I cant find the exact page, but it was there

I got a 7000 with the 24-70 three weeks ago - swapping from Sony A700 and Zeiss lenses - brought it up into the mountains and it did well with the snow and clear blue skies. I am thrilled with the light sensitivity - you can effectively use high ISO (1650) with minimal noise. Fast, accurate.... Very happy with my decision.
