Default Nikon D60 vs D90

I've had the D60 for about 3 years now and am happy with it with one exception. It does not do exposure bracketing. For HDR that is a must. I am considering selling the D60 and buying a D90. What do you think? If you have a better cameraI you think I should go to I would like to hear your thoughts as well. I plan on using the same VR lenses I have so compatibility is a must.

Manual mode? All the AEB function is is the automation of a very simple process.

True, but how can it be automated to take 3 exposures with one shutter release? Is there a way?

AFAIK, you can't do that on the D90 either.

Yes the D90 will bracket 3 shots, not 9 like the D300. But bracketting can be done in manual and I would not buy a new camera JUST for that feature.

But what I "need" to do is irrelevant to my question. It's what I want to do.

I agree, there are other features such as more megapixels, a larger screen, the ability to capture video. (to name a few).

I guess my question should have been "What would I be giving up going from the D60 to D90?"

Size and weight! I had a D40, and still have a D5000 which is similar is size and weight to your D60 - it sure is nice to have all that power in such a small light package.

I love my D90, It has excellent quality in all modes. When the upgrade came out which is the D7000 I got one as a backup to the D90. My D90 and D7000 allows bracketing. The lenses I have are compatable on both.
