Default S6000/Sandisk Issues?

I got my sister 3 Sandisk 2gb cards for christmas last year (her camera wasn't compatible with an SDHC. Then she ended up getting the S6000 this year. Now, 2 of the 3 cards don't work on the S6000. It gives the error, "This card cannot be used." The camera won't take pictures and won't even allow access to the menu to format the cards.

The cards both work in her old Nikon P&S, an S4 I believe. She's formatted them in her old camera. I'm not is she could take pictures with the S4 or not. Even after formatting them, they didn't work in her S6000

Now I've tried them both in my Canon XSi and they both work fine; formatting and when taking pictures. Again, after formatting, it still won't work in her S6000.

I figured I'd ask you guys if you've got any ideas before I send an email to Sandisk. In the mean time, I gave her one of my extra 2gb's to use since I mainly shoot with my 8's.

Thanks in advance!

Sounds like the S6000 is the problem.

Try formatting them 'FAT32' on a pc, and then popping them into your camera and formatting them, if they show up...
