D300s dual-memory question

I have a lot more, and bigger sized, SD cards, but I also have a couple CF cards..

So my question is, is there a reason why RAW files should be stored to CF, and JPG to SD, is there a speed difference or anything, or does it matter?

It really depends on the card you currently own. You could have a slow CF and a fast SDHC, it all depends of what you purchased.

But if you were looking at buying a new card tomorrow and you are looking for the fastest tranfer rate you can get, CF wins the battle.
