Default Now a backup

After years of abuse on the D40, I am happy to report that it is now a backup.

Last week I got a call from the local camera shop and told me my new D7000 is in stock.

this past friday, I went and picked it up.
used on my first maternity portrait session yesterday and am absolutely loving it.

I know that its a huge leap from the 40 to 7K ... been a long time saving and all, but so far well worth it!

Not really. It's just the next level up. (I'll be looking to jump up to the D400 in ~18mo when I graduate.)
