I have read that the design life of the Nikon consumer-grade shutters is 100,000 shots. But that doesn't mean the shutter will fail on the 100,001st. I wouldn't worry about it, just keep shooting. BTW, 100,000 shots is a lot of picture-taking for a non-pro.

PS - your english is fine!

I've never read more than 50,000. Mine died at ~30000, but I'm not sure it was the shutter. 'twas still under warranty, so no issues.

It's not as comprehensive a list as the D40's is, but here's a database for the D3000: nikon d3000 | Camera Shutter Life Database

Just keep shooting.

@Almond - here's what Nikon says about the D90: "Durable, high precision shutter: Testing to over 100,000 cycles assures shutter life and accuracy." The D90 is at the upper end of Nikon's consumer (or prosumer ?) cameras, and the design life probably varies from model to model, so I'd expect that others may well be considerably lower.

yes, that's true for the D90, but the OP asked about the D3000.

I don't consider the D90 to be entry level. Its mid-level / lower-prosumer. Entry is the D40/x/60/3000/5000/3100. The mid-level is the D50/70/80/90/7000.

It seems Nikon doesn't commit themselves to the D3000 design shutter life on their site (or at least I can't find it), but here are a couple of sites that quote 100,000 cycles:

@Aegea...yup that's rather peculiar about nikon's website not giving the shutter life documentation, well, i'm beginning not to think too much about the shutter life anymore, coz' it holds my finger from shooting "the not important" scenery, which sometimes actually became the 'most important', so i just keep on shooting, if it does broke, well, i can just fix it rite (hoping its not that expensive hahahahaha)

i'm in love with this baby, that's why in only 1 month after i bought it i already taken about 1047+ pics (is this too many pics for a beginner like me ?)

thanks to you Aegea, and not forgotten to Almond too..

Just keep shooting. If you start to have shutter problems, get it serviced. The numbers you'll find are just estimates to give you a sense of what to expect -- not a requirement for service.
