Good choice. Many reviews are complaning about the CA (chromatic aberration), but I never had issue with that. I love my 35mm f/1.8 It will auto-focus on your D60 and will give you acces to low-light / depth of filed. The lens is also sharper than the 18-55 / 55-200.

The only thing you may have to get use to is getting close of you subject if you want a good headshot. 35mm is a bit wide for portrait but not impossible. I was almost 12" of my subject for these:

You can also check Almond.Butterscotch's Flickr. He's doing most of his picture with that lens.

Have one for use on my D90. Great lens. Just remember to keep your subject in focus. It is really easy to get a blurry shot with a wide open aperture.

Thanks for the plug!

Here's my D40+ 35mm set: D40 + 35mm f/1.8 - a set on Flickr

All but the last shot in the D90 set are with the 35mm as well: D90 - a set on Flickr

Incidentally (getting a bit off topic now), there's a chance that the 50 f/1.4 is my next lens...

C'mon Nikon! Make another non-macro AF-S prime in the 65-110mm range! (85 1.8!)
