Looking for a fast lens for my Nikon D100

The Topic says it all, I'm looking for a fast lens for my Nikon D100. I've read a bunch of reviews on the AF-S 35mm F1.8 and the 50mm F1.4. I'm just starting to take pictures of friends and their kids (for moolah of course.. I'm not THAT nice), and did my sisters wedding this past August (which turned out ok except for most of the indoor pictures since I'm using a 24-120 3.5-5.6 VR lens with a SB-80X speedlight). I'd like a much faster lens than what I currently have and can spend in the ballpark of $200, any recommendations or considerations that might sway my purchase?

For half that, you can have the 50mm f/1.8.
For that amount, you can have the 35mm f/1.8.
For double that amount, you can have the AF-S 50mm f/1.4.

I've got the 35 and love it- absolutely love it. I've used the 50 1.4 (AF-S) a couple times, and as nice as it is, it does focus a touch slowly (if that much more accurately), but if you need/want that shallow DoF and/or low light abilities, go for it.

I think I'll go with the Af-s 35mm f1.8, from everything I've read the difference between 1.4 and 1.8 isn't worth 200 (for what I'm doing anyway) and a 50mm or even 85 mm might lead me to stand further from my target than I want. Thanks for the info Almond
