Default Nikon D90 - questions before purchasing

Planning on buying the Nikon D90 within the new few weeks. But after reading the problems that some on you are having should I do this? And If I dont, do you have any suggestions as to which camera I should purchase.

I don't know what problems people are having. Mine has developed several hot pixels and in a few years it will be more problem than I will be willing to deal with. For now I can live with it.

That said, I also have a D700. Guess which camera I seem to always be picking up.. Yep, the D90. I really like my D90 and for now I can live with the hot and dropped pixel problem..

I think the thing to remember is that people will inevitably post more about "I have a problem" than "Everything works just fine"

Well, I can say that with mine, everything works just fine.

I'm very happy with mine as well. I don't hesitate to recommend it to friends, etc.
