Default Remote Shutter Releaser Nikon D5000

Dear Everybody,

I need information regarding remote shutter leaser for Nikon D5000. In manual I found that "Nikon ML-L3 Remote Control “ will work. But Camera having sensor for remote shutter leaser in the front side of the body. So it may not be possible to trigger from back side (I haven't tried). Is there any wired remote shutter release like "Remote Cord MC-DC2" for Nikon D90. Please guide me regarding this.

Thanks
Pranab

According to Nikon, the MC-DC2 is compatible with the D5000.

Just get the remote. I've found that it will trigger the camera if held low and a little in front of the camera (not the lens, of course). Additionally, I have been able to "bounce" the trigger off of walls.

I also have had luck bouncing the ML-L3 remote signal off of a mirror, piece of tinfoil, or a wall. It works very well and doesn't tie up any space.

Thanks to everybody. I will go for wireless, because it is little bit cheaper then wired one.
