Default I want to upgrade....

Hi Everyone,
I am thinking of upgrading from a Nikon D60, and would like your imput on what my next camera should be.

The D60 was my first DSLR, and i have spent a lot of time studying it, learning all the in's & outs, leaning about Apreture, contrast, etc, and beginning to be challenged by it's limitations.

I'd like to know what you would recommend as to what camera I should move up to.
D90, D300 or D300s? I've run the camparison between the 3 cameras. I had decided that I was going to go with the D90, but now thinking maybe i should take just another step up. The difference between the D300 & D300s is very slight, the biggest thing is the Video. For those of you who have the 300s, do you really see it as that important?

I am a hobbiest, who hopes to go 'part time'. What do you think?

I've got a D80, and D300. The D300 will blow the D80 out of the water when it comes to higher ISO, FPS, and build quality.

I'm guessing there isn't too much difference between the D60 and D80, except with the D60 you have to use AF-S lens, or get use to manual focusing.

Looking at your lens collection, I'd probably invest in a nice pro quality lens before buying another body.

Ah...actually, I lens I do not have included in my collection as of yet, is a Tamron 18-55 f/2.8. I bought the lens about 3 weeks ago, and when it arrived it was damaged. So I'm waiting for it's replacement. Even as I upgrade my glass, that too has to be carefully selected since as you mentioned, the D60, requires you to have AF-s Lens's

Well, you can take the D300 out of the equation unless you're buying used: they're no longer available new.

From what I can see from here, I'd say the D90. You dont seem to need much of the improvements the D300s body would give you.
