Post D5000 price variation

I'm thinking of buying D5000 body only and 35mm f/1.8 lens. But i'm confused by the price variation in different sites like from $629 (body only) in Amazon and $489 in CentralDigital. I don't whether I should buy it from the sites like CentralDigital which offers considerably low price or should buy it from trusted sites like amazon, adorama ...? I'll be very much thankful if someone can help me. As I'm from Asian country every $ matters to me.

And check on the Nikon website for their authorised retailers, other places may not be able to give you the warranty card you need for the manufacturers warranty.

A 7.94 is nothing to scoff at, but most of the negative reviews are indicative of a scam site. I'd avoid.

Default Just a little addition

I've just bought a D5000 in the U.K. and all I can add is check whether the considerably cheaper ones are refurbished. (I saw a wide range of prices.) Although they may be of high standard, you might want to buy brand new. Amazon has, for example a 'condition' tab usually found down the page you're looking at. This will tell you if it's new or not. The camera itself is very user friendly and within a day or so I have a pretty firm handle on the menu layout etc. It's quite small though (Ihave big hands) The swivel screen is cool and the images I've taken so far have really impressed. New in the U.K. £479.00.
Thanks
Dave

Check out Walmart.com: Save money. Live better.. As much as I dislike Wal-Mart, you can buy the kit for $699. I am not sure about international shipping though.
