Question Using a computer as a live stream viewfinder for the D80?
I would like to be able to hook up my camera to my laptop and use it as a giant viewfinder. Is it possible to do this with the Nikon D80? I've read a little online about having software that came with the camera; however, I bought my camera years and years ago, and silly me, I can't find a lot that came with it. I don't even remember if there was a CD that did!

You can download the Nikon software from their website. Not sure if you can do what you said with that particular software, but there's only one way to find out.

You cant use your laptop or computer as a giant viewfinder with anything that doesnt have liveview, so you wont be able to with a D80. D5000, D90, D300/s, D700, D3/x/s only.
