Im not at all sure what you're asking. I've read your post several times, but I simply cannot figure out what you're saying.

i think he wants a good "full-range" walkaround and speed doesn't matter but quality does.

Unfortunately, such a lens doesn't exist. You can either have quality (often with speed) or full-range, but not both. The 18-200, for example, has barrel distortion at one end and pincushion at the other. Same with the Tamron 18-270. Its the common story with those sort of lenses. You'd be better situated with 2 or more shorter range zooms or a handful of primes.

yeh sorry about that trying to type on me Iphone doesn't really help anyway what iv been asked to do a kid's Charity photo shoot at my son's school and if i could take some group like photo's off the kids which are aged 7-8years old and about 30kid's a class and there are 5 classes, the thing is i dont think that my 35mm on the dx is truly wide enough so should i sell the 35mm+55-200 so what sort off prime lens or mid zoom would give me a true wide angle on a DX

first off, I don't think i'd go selling lenses for a charity shoot.

that said, if 35 isn't wide enough, how bout the 28mm end on your zoom lens? If that's not wide enough, you should take a couple steps back.
