Default Lens upgrade
I currently have a D60 lens kit, and looking to upgrade my lens'. I will be attending my family reunion in two weeks, and would like to know your opinion on the best wide angle lens, as I plan to take group shots of both large & small groups. What do you think of Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8?

The lens i use now is Nikkor 18-55mm. Is the Tamron that much of an upgrade?

well, the best wide angle is the 14-24mm, but you never specified what kind of budget you're looking at.
