Question live view in d3000

in d3000 the image can only be seen after taking the snap. then how about video recording? will that be liveview ? why it is not provided in nik D3000? is it a big disadvantage? then it aspects we can say it is a good camera i.e. how it is distinguish from others to compensate this feature?
