Good Lens of Street Photography?

Hi guys!

I currently have a Nikon D60 (plan on getting the D90 replacement when they announce it 6_6) and just bought my first non kit lens (50mm 1.8) - what's a good lens to take street photos (ala sartorialist) ?

Well, those would be street portraits (not counting the fashion shows), and for the most part, look like the subject consented before the shot was taken. If that's the case, than the 50 is fine. I use a 35, but I'd just as quickly use the 50. I've seen good results with it for that kind of shot on the crop sensor.

If you're looking to be doing candids, however, you'll want something a bit longer (imho). Maybe in the 100-135mm range
