Default Nikon Extension rings

Hi I use a Nikon 105mm Macro lens with my D80. I want to get a more magnified image when taking shots of insectsd. I purchsed some cheap macro extension tubes that came in 3 sizes, but they are useless, good job they only cost £8.00!

Can anyone reccomend extension rings that are compatible with a G lens. I was looking at the Nikon PN-11 Auto Extension Ring (52.5mm), but I cannot find anywhere if it is compatible with a G lens.

Thanx in advance.
