Default Point And Shoot

I am in the market for a quality point and shoot compact but it must have a viewfinder. I am currently using a Leica C Lux2 so I am looking for quality. My DSLR is a Nikon.. Thanks

See this thread you posted in the Canon section.

Good luck finding one in this day and age most point and shoot cameras these days try to make the LCD screens as big as possible therefore removing other features to make room for the screen.

All my Point and Shoot camera's in the past have been Canon cameras and I currently still have a Canon Powershot S3 IS. My main camera however is a Nikon DSLR, D5000 which is my first DSLR.

I think Canon is one manufacture that had viewfinders on their compact camera's the longest but even now it's hard to come across a compact Canon camera with a viewfinder.

I think the closes camera I can suggest to you for what you are looking for would be Canon PowerShot G11.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX3 has an "accessory" viewfinder that can be purchased separately from the camera if you want to go that route. Having said that I think that the Canon Camera would be a better choice.

Hope this helps or at least points you in the right direction.

Maybe one of the new Micro 4/3rds cameras from Panasonic or Olympus would be an option?

Samsung & Sony have similar things coming out. I think most have an accessory viewfinder as an option.
