Three months ago I purchased a Nikon D90. Now I have this random error message that has to do with the f stop. I am told(not buy best buy where i purchased it who already replaces it with another D90) but from other D90 users that there is some kind of miscommunication between the lens and the body. Is this very common? Do I go over to the Canon side or do you guys out there who own the D90 have this issue and just "deal with it" For this kind of money and camera you would expect it to be perfect. I already lost some picture taking moments that I can't get back
. Is there a Canon out there that is just as good with the same features as the D90. The best Buy people told me to just take off the lens and reattach before I shoot to make sure there is good communication between the lens and body? Really???

Hmm, I've only had a lens error message once. That was when I only put the lens on halfway!!!

I've had this issue once myself with my D90 and 50mm, both right out of the box. It wouldn't read right away but I haven't had the issue since. However, on Flickr there are quite a number of people complaining about it.
