Default D3000 upload software

When we moved a month ago I lost my disk for installing the photo upload.
So I cannot get the photos off my camara onto my computer. At that same time my computer crashed and I lost the original install. How does one go about replacing this software?
Thanks to anyone who can help
Sharon

Easiest way is just to get an SD card reader, and copy your pictures directly from it.

My 2 cents

I just use Picasa to upload my pics to the computer. (picasa.com) Ended up uninstalling the nikon software, anyway.

speed. Card readers are 10-50x faster.

As Almond.Butterscotch mentioned: theyre faster. But it's also less hassle. No cables, no software, no wasting battery life transferring files, etc. The SD card pops-up like a flash drive and it's as easy as drag-and-drop. Why complicate matters?

Most of that stuff doesn't affect me... my D40 pops up like a flash drive (so long as I have it in mass storage mode- which is always, unless I'm tethered shooting), I transfer files all the same, battery depletion during upload is minimum to nothing (as far as my experience goes anyways- I've gotten a battery down to the point where the shutter won't fire and still uploaded over 1000 RAW files to my computer from the camera). Software (again) is still the same- Aperture. Cables: in one case your connecting the card reader, in the other the camera. No difference. For me, it's all about speed.
